This truly is one of those very special properties. It’s the kind of property that you can search a lifetime to find and one that you’ll be proud to pass down to your kids and theirs. I guess you could call this “a legacy property”! The Mathis tract is located in Claiborne County Mississippi between Hermanville and Port Gibson between the Mississippi River, and the big black river just off of the Bayou Pierre. This part of the world is well known for having very fertile soil and producing monster bucks. The property is intersected by a large powerline that is perfect for food plots, loaded with mature pine and hardwood timber, the storm creek intersects the property and the Bayou Pierre is the northern boundary. This area is also well known for its Civil War history. Between the hunts enjoy spending time metal detecting for relics. If you’re not into that grab a fishing pole. There is an incredible lake on the property that is stocked with Bass and bream. The main house is extremely nice and is perfect for the whole family. And, when you have guests there is a separate bunkhouse that is very comfortable.
