Sam Clark was born and raised in Sumrall MS. A middle infielder for the well-
known Sumrall High School Baseball team, he went on to attend Jones County
Junior College and Mississippi State University. Sam’s passion for the outdoors
began on his family’s farm in rural Covington County. His love for horses and his
love of all people landed him as the Head Wrangler at CM Ranch in Dubois,
Wyoming. Out west, he gave guests unforgettable experiences of riding through
the desert badlands and the mountain highlands. There were thousands of acres
to explore and a million memories made.

Home kept calling though and he has spent the last several years utilizing his
excellent communication skills matching people with the truck or car they desire.
A top salesperson at Ramey Motors, the dealership experienced unprecedented
growth over the last few years. Now at Backwoods Land Co, Sam’s dream to help
others build and live out the experience of being outdoors will come to its fullest
potential. His passion to step into his waders on a cold duck hunting morning
never leaves him! He loves to compete in war with a hard gobbling long-beard in
a lonesome oak bottom. Time outdoors is where he is at his very best!
